For many people, summertime means sun, fun, swimming and picnics, and a lot of it revolves around three benchmark days: Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July: Independence Day. With the 4th coming up less than a month from now, a lot of people are planning a trip to Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Discover the wealth of entertainment options and other things to do in Las Vegas on the 4th of July, and how to make sure your itinerary prints perfectly.
If you’re planning to head to Vegas for the 4th, know that with Independence Day falling on Tuesday, the parties are going to kick off the prior Friday and go all the way through. The Strip is going to be clogged with thousands of people, and everything will be open.
If there’s something you’ve always wanted to do, it’ll be ready to go for your 4th of July trip. That means, however, that you’re going to need reservations. Also keep in mind that at this time of year, the temperature is going to soar and will average at least around 100 degrees.
Of course, what’s the Fourth without fireworks? In Vegas, you’ll have your pick of outstanding fireworks shows, each of which calls itself the best. Caesar’s Palace offers a massive display that lasts for over 13 minutes, with fireworks shot from the Julius Tower at 9:10. The Stratosphere Casino calls its show the Ultimate 4th of July Experience and launches from the North Parking Garage.
Mandalay Bay has fireworks combined with a music performance, which starts at 8:30 PM. Station Casinos’ show goes off on both the East and the West side of town and lasts for about 9 minutes. At Lake Las Vegas, the Celebrate America fireworks show starts off at 8:40 PM. Here’s the takeaway: anywhere you are in Vegas you’ll be able to see amazing fireworks between 8:30 and 9 PM!
The LINQ Promenade offers tons of festivities and family fun that includes decorations, retail, dining, and live music performers. There’s also face painters, balloon and caricature artists, games, and more! It’s a great time for the entire family.
