Vegas Ink and Toner will Adjust Their Operations Due to COVID-19

COVID-19 has challenged both residents and businesses in the Las Vegas Valley to adjust their daily schedules, habits, and operations. The rise of social distancing in these unprecedented times has helped prevent the disease from wreaking havoc on ourselves and neighbors. We here at Vegas Ink and Toner are also participating in social distancing. We’ve implemented adjusted operations and delivery methods out of concern for everyone’s safety. Our inventory of ink, toner, and printers is the largest in the Las Vegas Valley and we want to make sure you have access to it in the safest manner possible. Here’s how we’re keeping you safe from COVID-19 through social distancing!

Why Social Distancing is the Best Bet for Beating COVID-19

You’ve may have heard of ‘social distancing’ as a method of preventing the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing is the fancy way of saying you’re avoiding other people, for their safety and yours. COVID-19 is a very easily spread virus that jumps from person to person, often without their knowledge. Someone with the virus doesn’t necessarily need to have symptoms to spread it. This is why social distancing is so key! The COVID-19 virus has a relatively small radius: about six feet. Staying six feet away from other people in lines, at social gatherings, or work is the best way to prevent the virus from latching on to a new host. Social distancing also involves making compromises in your social life. You can’t catch COVID-19 if you aren’t in the same space as someone who has it, so staying home and limiting interactions is key to stopping it.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Social Distancing

The simplest (and most effective!) way to social distance is to just stay home. When you don’t risk interacting with someone who could have the disease, you don’t risk catching it. Unfortunately, there are times when a public trip is necessary, such as buying essential food and supplies at the grocery store or filling up your tank at the gas station. If you do go out, try to keep a minimum distance of six feet from others at all times. Avoid touching your face and practice basic hygiene. Washing your hands with antibacterial soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds before and after touching anything prevents the spread of the virus. Sanitizing high-touch areas such as door handles, grocery store cart handles, or light switches is a good way to battle COVID-19. Most importantly: if you feel sick, don’t go out! Coughing, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing are symptoms of COVID-19; if you suspect you have them, seek medical help.

New Hours, Delivery Methods, and Service Changes

Due to COVID-19, we’ve decided to make some changes to our operations. Getting you the ink, toner, and printer supplies you need to keep your home or business running smoothly in these challenging times is very important to us. However, we want to keep you, your families, and our team as safe and healthy as possible while doing it. We’ve temporarily suspended our walk-in services, same-day delivery and empties pick up until the spread of COVID-19 slows. We are happy to offer delivery of all supplies within 1 – 2 days and will electronically send invoices for all transactions. Our office will be open for limited hours from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but we are not accepting walk-in services at this time. Safety and health come first.
